Project: Conservation Program for the Principal Entrance to the Maitland Gaol Complex
This project conserved the main entrance to the Maitland Gaol complex which incorporates the Governors Residence, the iron entrance cage, gates, picket fence and garden elements.

Project: Maitland Gaol Interpretation Plan Implementation
The vision for the Gaol facility is to present the design, social, urban, industrial and brutal qualities of the complex, in order to allow visitors to appreciate how the gaol affected and impacted on all people associated with its function of imprisonment. A multi-faceted approach to interpretation has been developed for the site which in the initial implementation included the development and implementation of a self-guided audio tour, and preparation for displays and exhibits.

2008-2009

Development of the Auditorium/Museum

Project: Stage 3 Auditorium and Cell Blocks
This project conserved and adapted the Auditorium of Maitland Gaol with reinstatement of the area's original configuration and establishment of an Education and Interpretation Centre and undertook conservation on the principal Cell Blocks A, B and C incorporating internal cleaning, repainting and associated carpentry and steelwork repairs.

The project continued the development of the interpretation of Maitland Gaol by the establishment of a Research and Reading Room within the Governor's Residence and the establishment of a volunteer program for the maintenance of the Maitland Gaol Collection.
