'porridge' The Gaol Cafe

Porridge Cafe now serving light meals and group requirements

Maitland Gaol now has something different.

'porridge' The Gaol Cafe is located in the former Warden's Cafeteria and Amenities, just near the main gates.

It's the perfect spot for morning tea or cake and coffee before you explore behind the walls. If you happen to escape, have lunch before you abscond.

'porridge' is ideal for groups, catering for up to 90. Bus Groups are welcome by appointment. Several function options are available and we have a special Dinner and Tour package for Groups of 25 or more.

'porridge' is open Monday to Friday 9:00am till 2ish. We are happy to open for groups at other times to suit your requirements with adequate notice and minimum numbers.

Keep a look out on the website for special activities planned for 2008 which will include several theme nights. A perfect location for Weddings, Hens Nights and Get Togethers.
