2008 Hunter Student Fashion Designer Awards

Maitland Gaol has become a venue of choice within the lower Hunter area for the staging of unique special events.

One-off events such as Car Club rallies and annual meetings are regularly hosted, sometimes with functions such as Black Tie Dinners and at other times as a showcase for the particular group's activity or passion.

On all occasion's Maitland Gaol proves to be an unforgettable venue.

Regular events are also hosted such as the annual Bitter and Twisted International Boutique Beer Festival'. This event over 2 days on the first weekend in November each year attracts thousands of people to various activities such as appreciation lunches and high quality entertainment.

Maitland Gaol also runs special events throughout the year including Friday 13th Tours, Halloween Sleepover and 'Jingle Cells' Christmas Functions to name a few.  Travelling exhibitions are also hosted.
